I've recently started thinking about drawing Pokemon art again, considering I haven't done it since 2021, and it's a series I still really like, it's not like I grew out of the series and that's why I stopped making content on it (like with Splatoon), it's still one of my favorite like, things of all time. I think it's just because of the whole "I don't really do fan art" thing that I've sorta had the past few years, considering on Furaffinity the amount of stuff that I have under the "fan art" category is just... seven drawings, from 2020 till now, the reason is just because I wanna focus on my own characters and not really getting pigeonholed into being "the guy that makes [x]" that a lot of artists/creators fall under, had a lot of creators I like get discouraged from doing anything BUT making something focused on a specific fandom because of people who only follow them for that content, hence why I just prefer to make original stuff.

Though to get back on topic, if I were to do Pokemon stuff again idk if I'd make them feral or make them into anthros/pokemorphs, considering that feral is something I've basically never drawn, though I guess it'd just depend on whatever Pokemon I draw.

I changed the wallpaper to something a bit better, while also setting it to be fixed so it doesn't move, but more importantly, the art archive has been overhauled, instead of just listing everything as direct links, they're thumbnails now, looks (and functions) way better than just plain links. :P

I mentioned this on my SpaceHey (and Dreamwidth) but I got weirdly sentimental over this whole "making content for the internet" thing, I'll have officially been doing that for 10 years in November. Specifically, November 25th, that was when I published my first thing under my current-ish presence back in 2015, a Splatoon fanfic on fanfiction[.]net. For reference, I was 12 and preparing to move to Japan for the first time, and now I'm 21 (and will be 22 when the anniversary hits), nearly done with college and potentially moving to Japan on my own later this year (or next year). Though admittedly I didn't pick up the Inkling Studios name until April, but still, it's crazy to think about.

Maybe when the anniversary hits I'll do something special for it, idk.

My plans for the future are to get in the IT field and move to- oh wait, CREATIVE plans, silly me.

Anyway, I have some big things planned in the coming months (hell, potentially years), the first of which is my personal website. Right now it's pretty simple and basic, though I plan to really get knowledgeable on HTML and CSS and make something that looks really damn good, planning for like a mid-2000s grungy style or just generally something around then that looks nice to me, aiming for something that looks either like this or this. I say months for this as I know it's gonna take a while to learn, it's not something I can just do in a weekend when I'm bored or whatnot.

The second (and main reason I made this post) is that I plan to do some proper animations, with my first plan being to make something for this year's Halloween, as it's months from now so that gives me a chance to really learn the ropes, gives me a chance to think up a plot, and has time for me to get voice actors, whether it's my friends (who i'm planning on right now) or some people from the NG community. it also gives me an excuse to be edgy and gory but that's beside the point

For the software I plan on using (what else? :P) Flash (i know it's Animate now but shush), as I've worked with it in the past for both animation and games and know how to use it pretty well.

But yeah, kinda long and ramble-y post but just wanted to get that out there, planning on drawing more frequently too.

Because I just found that out, at least on here :P

My two most popular drawings on here are ones I'm not super proud of anymore, but ig that just comes with the territory of constantly growing as an artist (hell, my Xenia drawing was made using a mouse, I didn't get a drawing tablet for a few more months)
